[Potage with turnip]




·Ingredients
Turnip 3 pieces
Small potato one piece
Canned mushroom
(approx. 190g with liquid) one can
Onion a half piece
One cup of water
Small spoonful of salt
Large spoonful of butter
1.5 cups of milk
(for finish)
Salt and pepper as appropriate
Fresh cream as appropriate
Italian parsley as appropriate
·How to cook
(1) Peel onion and slice it thin.
(2) Peel turnips and potato and slice them.
(3) Melt butter in a pan, put onion into it and fry them until they become transparent.
(4) Put canned mushroom (with liquid) and (2) into (3) and after frying them lightly, add water and salt and boil them until they become soft.
(5) Put milk and (4) into a mixer and mix them.
(6) Filter (5) and return to a pan and warm. Finish the taste with salt and pepper.
Serve in soup bowls with fresh cream and Italian parsley.
* If filtered, soup becomes pleasant to the palate.
